Since ships and airplanes have traveled between Europe and the Americas (the shortest route has more than 5,000 kilometers), it has been easy. Yet not too long ago Wagner, a 41-year-old car dealer in Germany, completed an extraordinary transatlantic flight. On September 27, he wore layers of bodyguards, including cotton, wetsuit, ski suits and leather garments, wearing a motorcyclist’s face mask and attaching himself to the steel frame of an airplane fuselage with three seat belts on. Another driver piloted the plane. The plane slowly rose, the cold wind whistled by him. He was sent at 3,000 meters. The aircraft flew over Scotland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland and Canada and landed in New York on 5 October. His dream of flying over the Atlantic in this adventurous way came true, but the chin was frozen.
