因学习紧张而减少睡眠时间是当前存在于高中生中的一种普遍现象,这成为影响青少年健康的一大隐患。睡眠作为人类一种正常的生理活动,有着无可替代的功能与作用。充足的睡眠对于维持神经细胞的兴奋性、保持正常记忆力、维护大脑正常运行等都具有十分重要的意义。此外,睡眠与青少年身体的成长发育、组织细胞的新陈代谢和免疫系统功能的正常发挥有着十分密切的联系。挤占必要的睡眠时间虽然可以延长学习时间,但却会导致学习效率下降,久而久之还会影响记忆力,甚至使身心健康受到损害。所以高中生睡眠不足的现象应引起高度重视,科学、妥善地安排学习时间,保证充足的睡眠时间,意义重大。
