煤矿在采掘与洗选过程中,煤矸石约占原煤产量的25%~30%。这些矸石被堆积在地面,形成了一座座煤矸石山。根据对大中型煤矿的不完全调查,自燃的煤矸石山约占全部矸石山的48%,个别地区占到了65%。煤矸石山已成为人所共知的公害。它不仅污染环境,而且直接造成煤矿巨大的经济损失。分析煤矸石山自燃造成的各项损失,可以从经济效益这一侧面提高我们对治理环境污染的认识,加速对煤炭共生资源的综合利用。1 煤矸石山自燃因污染环境而带来的经济损失某市大中型煤矿有8座煤矸石山,其中有4座矸石堆积总量达1300多万吨,另外4座达300~600万 t。近年来,这8座煤矸石山有6座发生了自燃,自燃总面积达10万m~2
