Ricardo Atlas型216毫米缸径的单缸四冲程发动机在与高比功率(约20巴平均有效压力)的多缸机相当的运行条件下,对27种喷油泵柱塞直径和喷嘴参数的组合进行了试验。试验结果给出了燃油喷射压力对烟度和油耗的影响。在这些条件下,当发动机转速为1000转/分和1500转/分时,分别为700巴和1200巴的最高油管压力是有利的。计算所得的通过喷嘴的压力降表明,在其它参数的宽广范围内,烟度和油耗之间存在良好的相互关系。
The Ricardo Atlas 216mm bore single cylinder four-stroke engine performed a combination of 27 injector plunger diameters and nozzle parameters at comparable operating conditions to multi-cylinder engines with high specific power (about 20 bar average effective pressure) test. The test results show the effect of fuel injection pressure on smoke and fuel consumption. Under these conditions, the highest tubing pressures of 700 bar and 1200 bar, respectively, are favorable when the engine speed is 1000 rpm and 1500 rpm. The calculated pressure drop across the nozzle shows that there is a good correlation between smoke and fuel consumption over a broad range of other parameters.
