双桂堂位于重庆市梁平县金带镇境内,距县城十二公里,系云、贵、川、渝各个佛教大寺庙的祖庭,是一座蜚声中外的佛教禅宗寺庙,被誉为“西南禅宗祖庭”。数百年来,几经修葺扩建,现占地120余亩。远眺寺院,茂盛的树丛中,红色的围墙如彩带绕寺,宏伟的楼阁隐约可见,令人神往。双桂堂历史文化丰富,建筑壮观,园林优美,誉为“蜀中丛林之首”。
Shuanggui Tang is located in the territory of Liangping County, Chongqing Municipality, with a distance of twelve kilometers from the county seat.
