1 Introduction Academic terminology is a term that has a professional meaning in the academic field and therefore is the core of professional knowledge. It can be said that there is no professional knowledge without academic terminology. Chinese academic terms mostly translated from English academic terms, the translation of the same contribute to academic communication and exchange. In recent years, the exchanges in academic, cultural, economic and trade fields between Taiwan and mainland China have been developing rapidly. Academic, cultural, book publishing and exchange of industry standards require the translation of academic terms. However, although both sides of the Taiwan Strait use Chinese, but since 1949, due to politics
