在现有条件下,工厂化育苗就是在育苗前期用营养液和培养基质(简称基质)代替营养土,用电热自控恒温设备代替温室和阳畦,创造适合于幼苗生长发育的营养条件和温湿度环境,经过催芽、出苗、绿化等过程,迅速育出秧苗,然后移植于阳畦、塑料棚或温室中,进行后期育苗管理,直至定植。这次试验,主要是摸索,适于我区工厂化育苗的设备构成和具体操作技术;催芽、播种和浸种后直播的效果;不同基质和营养液配方的育苗效果以及蔬菜工厂化育苗与阳畦、温室营养土育苗效果的比较。现将试验情况初报如下:
