Introduction Pulsed electromagnetic method, also known as induction pulse transient method or transitional field method, is a new type of geophysical method developed abroad in recent years. Its theoretical research, dating back to the thirties and forties of this century, but the emergence of commodity instruments, began in nearly 20 years. INPUT, PEM (crone), SIROTEM, MIIII- and other equipment are of this type. Pulse electromagnetic method works as shown in Figure 1. The transmitting device T feeds a periodic repeating pulse of some shape to the loop line L to establish a (excitation) pulsed electromagnetic field in space. However, at a certain time after a field collapse, the receiving system R detects the induced potential on the probe C. analysis
