高职院校英语教学主要目的是完善学生的口语交际能力,传统的教学方式不能起到良好的效果,因此,应该完善教学内容,设置英语精读课程,使学生的语言应用能力得到切实的提高。 The main purpose of English teaching in higher vocational colleges is to improve students ’oral communicative competence. The traditional teaching methods can not play a good effect. Therefore, teaching contents should be improved and English intensive courses should be set up so that students’ language ability can be effectively improved.
