The mononuclear phagocytic system is an important part of the body’s defense system and has many important functions. Understanding and mastering the morphological structure and functional metabolism of the system has obvious biological significance. First, the concept of mononuclear phagocyte system (MPS) refers to those originated in the bone marrow-derived hematopoietic stem cells, blood circulation to the tissue and mature into a macrophage cell line.
