词汇教学是语言教学的有机组成部分,词汇是语言的建筑材料,掌握尽可能多的词汇是学好语言的基础。但目前高中生习得词汇的状况是词汇量偏低。同时这影响到他们听说读写的能力,尤其给阅读带来了极大的障碍。学生掌握的积极词汇少,消极词汇多。对部分词汇的掌握还停留在理解阶段,不能在口头交际或书面表达中正确运用所学词汇。在传统的词汇教学策略下,学生养成了死记硬背的学习方法,造成词汇遗忘快,易拼错。依靠查字典是学生获得新词的主要途径。针对这种现状,教师应对词汇教学进行反思,构建科学的词汇教学策略以提高词汇教学效率,促进学生英语词汇学习。
Vocabulary teaching is an integral part of language teaching. Vocabulary is the language of building materials. Mastering as many vocabularies as possible are the foundations for language learning. However, the current status of high school students vocabulary is low vocabulary. At the same time, this affects their ability to read, write and speak, and in particular, presents a great obstacle to reading. Students have fewer positive words and negative words. The mastery of some of the vocabulary is still in the understanding stage, can not correctly use the vocabulary in oral communication or written expression. In the traditional vocabulary teaching strategy, students develop a rote learning method, resulting in the vocabulary forgotten fast, easy to misspelt. To rely on the dictionary is the main way for students to get new words. In response to this situation, teachers should reflect on vocabulary teaching, construct a scientific vocabulary teaching strategy to improve the efficiency of vocabulary teaching and promote students’ English vocabulary learning.
