By 1999, the US robot market would have doubled from $592 million in 1992 to $1.2 billion. Its comprehensive annual growth rate is about 11%. Among them, assembly and processing robots are synchronizing with the market growth. At present, assembly robots are the fourth largest market, material application robots are tied for fourth, and material processing robots are over 30% of the market. The reason for the growth of robot applications is the further improvement of robot performance, reliability, and accuracy; it is used to replace workers who work in harsh and hazardous environments, and to reduce the medical compensation costs of employees; it is more used as a factory automation complex integration system.
