During the concentrated application acceptance period for 2009,NSFC received 93 893 proposals.According to stipulations of theRegulations of National Natural Science Fundand results of expert evaluation, NSFC decided to support 17 858 projects,and decline 72 964 proposals.The rest proposals are still in the review process.“,”DURING THE CONCENTRATED APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE PERIOD FOR 2009,NSFC RECEIVED 93 893 PROPOSALS.ACCORDING TO STIPULATIONS OF THEREGULATIONS OF NATIONAL NATURAL SCIENCE FUNDAND RESULTS OF EXPERT EVALUATION, NSFC DECIDED TO SUPPORT 17 858 PROJECTS,AND DECLINE 72 964 PROPOSALS.THE REST PROPOSALS ARE STILL IN THE REVIEW PROCESS.
