中韩两国一衣带水,无论是经济贸易上还是文化上的交流都已经有悠久的历史,甚至都可以追溯到唐朝时期。而如今,国际化的进程加快也更是让中韩两国的交流日趋频繁,不容分割。在两国交流中,语言障碍和文化差异常常会造成不必要的尴尬和损失,无论是为了避免经济上的损失还是减少文化上的冲突,正确而合理的翻译都起着关键作用。本文从韩语谚语的翻译角度出发,首先总结了韩语谚语的特点及文化体现,随后探讨了几种韩语谚语的翻译策略,旨在为韩语谚语的正确翻译做出贡献,从而促进两国间的正常交流。
China and South Korea have a long history of both economic and trade exchanges and cultural exchanges, even dating back to the Tang Dynasty. Today, however, the acceleration of the process of internationalization and the exchange of China and South Korea are becoming more frequent and inseparable. In the exchange between the two countries, language barriers and cultural differences often cause unnecessary embarrassment and loss. Whether it is to avoid economic losses or reduce cultural conflicts, proper and reasonable translation plays a key role. Starting from the perspective of translation of Korean proverbs, this paper first summarizes the characteristics and cultural expressions of Korean proverbs, and then explores the translation strategies of several Korean proverbs, which are intended to contribute to the correct translation of Korean proverbs and to promote normality between the two countries communicate with.
