1 Introduction Ferrite stainless steels with high deformability and corrosion resistance have been developed by adding titanium and reducing carbon and nitrogen contents since dissolved carbon and nitrogen are completely solidified to Ti (C, N). The amount of titanium added generally exceeds the formation of Ti (C, N) stoichiometric composition, however, it should be considered that the addition of excess titanium may have some effect on some properties of the ferritic stainless steel. In this paper, the effect of titanium content on the recrystallization behavior of high purity 17% Cr ferritic stainless steel was studied. 2 Test Procedures Table 1 shows the chemical composition of the materials used in this study
