用煤的元素比值预报煤与瓦斯突出的方法是辽宁省煤炭研究所编的《煤矿科技参考》第8期所介绍的方法。该方法认为,促进碳化的基本因素是地热,这时出现煤元素中氢对碳的比值减少,压力(瓦斯压)状态则表现在氧对碳比值的减小上,因此主张进行煤的元素分析,根据煤中氢和氧对碳原子数的比值来判断突出危险性。我们用此办法在生产实践中作了一些考察,现在谈点看法。
