在没有接受过正规翻译训练的学生中间,往往存在着这样一种不正确的认识,即翻译这门本事是随着外语水平同步增长的,只要外语学好了,翻译自然而然地就会了,其本身是没有多少技巧可言的。当他们在翻译中遇到困难,或是见到了令人叫绝的优美译文时,又往往会认为翻译更多地靠的是灵感,则不是有规律可循的东西。其实,翻译事业发展到了今天,前人已经在大量实践的基础上为我们总结了许多可资借鉴的宝贵经验。如果我们怀着这样的偏见对这些经验视而不见的话,定会走不少不必要的弯路。从本期开始,我们请两位大学的翻译老师结合他们的教学实践,为有兴趣学习翻译的同学们介绍一些关于翻译的入门知识,提供一些切实的帮助。 Among the students who have not received formal translation training, there is often such an incorrect understanding that the translation of this skill is accompanied by an increase in the level of foreign languages. As long as foreign language studies are good, the translation will naturally come to its own. There is not much skill at all. When they encounter difficulties in translating or when they encounter an amazingly beautiful translation, they often think that translation is more of an inspiration. It is not something that can be followed. In fact, translation has developed into today. Predecessors have already summed up many valuable lessons for us on the basis of extensive practice. If we ignore these experiences with such prejudice, we will certainly take a lot of unnecessary detours. From the beginning of this issue, we asked the translation teachers of the two universities to combine their teaching practices and introduce some introductory knowledge on translation to students who are interested in learning to translate and provide some practical help.
