Women’s writing advocates that women use the way of gender writing to express body, desire and experience in order to dispel Rutgers’ centralism, appealing new female discourse and overthrowing the binary system of patriarchy conspired by Rutgers and Philis to establish that women are The source of life, strength and energy. In the novel “The Great Falls,” Oates uses her body to express her unique desires, experiences and thoughts in a way that women write. Outez’s non-pornographic descriptions of female bodies and Mother Earth subvert the system of patriarchal discourse and present female-specific body and gender expressions and the construction of female subjectivity in neutral terms. The novel tells us that female writing is not a utopian imagination of female creativity, but it expands the space for diversified literary expression and brings readers fresh aesthetic experience.
