战洪水,纪检监察在行动——蚌埠市纪检监察机关履行职责服务抗洪救灾侧记

蚌埠市是安徽省直辖市,位于安徽省东部,是安徽省重要工业城市,也是全国重要交通枢纽城市。现辖四区三县,总面积5832平方公里,总人口340.4万人。淮河的一些主要支流涡河、浍河、沱河在这里注入淮河,境内主要河流还有芡河、北淝河、遚河、龙子河等。另外,怀洪新河河道主要集中在蚌埠,茨淮新河在这里注入淮河。全市共有各类堤防1085.08公里,防汛抗洪任务较重。今年6月底以来,淮河流域普降暴雨,致使处于淮河中游的蚌埠市洪涝齐发,受灾严重。为了缓解上下游地区防洪压力,蚌埠市启用了怀洪新河分洪,启用了荆山湖行洪区泄洪,为淮河防汛抗洪工作作出了较大贡献。据统计,截至7月14日,全市有421.63万亩土地受灾,成灾面积351.51万亩,绝收面积232.67万亩;全市受灾人口233.15万人,成灾人口195.79万人,因灾伤病人口0.07万人,被水围困人口41.09万人,紧急转移安置人口41.79万人;被水围困村庄1623个,倒塌房屋2.14万间。全市直接经济损失29.31亿元。□ Bengbu City is an independent municipality directly under the Central Government in Anhui Province.
