阅读理解是获取信息,扩大知识面的重要手段。阅读能力是衡量一个人英语水平的重要标准之一。中学英语学科课程标准将培养学生阅读能力作为主要的教学目标之一,并针对高中生阅读理解能力普遍存在的问题提出共同探讨。培养和提高学生阅读能力在英语教学中显得尤为重要。阅读能激发学生学习英语的兴趣,有助于扩大词汇量,丰富语言知识,提高运用语言的能力。在近几年的高考试题中,阅读理解题占了很大的比例。这就进一步要求教师在教学中应有意识地培养学生的英语阅读习惯和能力,有效地提高学生的英语阅读理解能力。
Reading comprehension is an important means of obtaining information and expanding knowledge. Reading proficiency is one of the most important criteria for measuring a person’s English. Secondary English curriculum standards will develop students’ reading ability as one of the main teaching objectives, and for high school students reading comprehension common problems are proposed. Training and improving students’ reading ability is particularly important in English teaching. Reading can stimulate students’ interest in learning English, help to expand vocabulary, enrich language knowledge and improve their ability to use the language. In recent years, college entrance examination questions, reading comprehension questions accounted for a large proportion. This further requires teachers in teaching should be consciously develop students ’English reading habits and abilities, effectively improve students’ reading comprehension.
