The workshop on material transport planning and technology and its relationship with timber mining operations was held in Norway in June 1982. The event was organized by the Joint FAO / ECE / ILO Joint Committee on Training for Forestry Practitioners and Forestry Workers and the International Union of Forestry Research Organizations (IUFRO).
