丁玲先走了,李辉英1991年“五一”也在香港谢世。我翻了一下李辉英遗札,其中1984年的几封信都提到为《中国》文学双月刊写稿事。今摘其一二,也可见编辑和作家的关系并不因年代久远而淡漠。丁玲和舒群要编《中国》文学,筹备期间,她希望有海外作家的作品,和我谈起,我提到了东北作家李辉英,他在香港中文大学教书,也常写点小说、散文。我读过他赠阅的《名流》小说集,知道他并未停下笔。丁玲很高兴,说她认识他,她主编的《北斗》发表了李辉英的《最后一课》(短篇小说),要我写信代她约稿。编《北斗》是1932年间事,距今不止半个世纪了。李辉
Ding Ling first left, Li Huiying 1991 “May Day” also died in Hong Kong.
