赤霉病是小麦的重要病害之一.患有赤霉病的小麦不仅产量低、粮质差,而且病麦含有毒素,食用后易引起人畜中毒.近年来,我县种植的小麦因扬花乳熟期间连续阴雨,加上气温又高,导致了小麦赤霉病不同程度的发生,1984年,小麦含赤霉病率达20%至30%,最高达50%以上.能否处理好小麦赤霉病的含量,最大限度地降低经济损失,保障人民身体健康,是我们粮食部门在新形势下,支持农村改革,贯彻执行国家食品卫生法的具体行动表现.
