A.对绝大多数完成了九年制义务教育或十二年制义务教育的人而言,在目前学科细分的环境下,是不可能也不必要精通或专长数门学科的,在假定各个基本学科同样的学习成本(时间)条件下,一个人用于外语课的时间多一些,必然会使他用于其他学科的时间减少:如果外语的学习成本高于其他学科, 则其他学科的学习时间必然会受到严重挤压。结果是不可能既精通外语又精通其他课程, 导致每一门课程平均低水平发展。如此,违反了经济学中的分工原理,必然降低学习效率及今后的专业劳动生产率。
