魔芋种子育苗是好门路

魔芋种子育苗是前人尚未系统研究和应用于生产的新方法。是建立苗圃基地、解决繁苗材料困难的一个好途径。与过去采用的块茎或切块和顶芽带蒂直播比较,种子育苗具有:①增大繁殖系数,为建立苗圃基地提供大量的种源。②节约繁殖材料的费用,降低生产成本。③种子育苗所得的小块茎,可以当年就地越冬,也可当年收挖干藏供来年种植。就地越冬的小块茎,来年萌发成苗后带泥取苗移栽到丰产园。④魔芋种子的采集、收藏方法简便。⑤播前不必晒种裹灰,同时在建种子园过程中还可结合开展属内杂交,培育新品种。
