无线mesh网络中应用的协议主要是TCP协议。应用层转发方法是将传统的端对端TCP连接分成一些短小的连接,它应用在有线网络中以提高TCP的性能。本文介绍了在无线mesh网中的应用层转发方法并在本网络中测试了TCP的性能。通过这种方法,无线网络中的结点具有更高的独立性并且往返时间RTT也大大缩短。然而,转发也增加了网络的竞争,为了减少这种竞争,引进了一个简单的调度进程来增进节点间的合作。实验结果表明,在4跳的网络中,应用调度机制能提高将近50%的网络性能。
The protocol used in wireless mesh networks is mainly the TCP protocol. The application layer forwarding method divides the traditional end-to-end TCP connection into some short connections, which is applied in the wired network to improve the performance of TCP. This article describes the application layer forwarding method in wireless mesh networks and tests the performance of TCP in this network. In this way, the nodes in the wireless network have higher independence and the round-trip time RTT is also greatly shortened. However, forwarding also increases network competition. In order to reduce this competition, a simple scheduling process has been introduced to promote cooperation between nodes. The experimental results show that in the 4-hop network, application scheduling mechanism can improve network performance by nearly 50%.
