肢体水肿是康复和急性病处理中的常见问题,诸如烧伤或严重肺功能衰竭的患者,必须了解肢体体积的变化以选择合适的液体处理方法。在康复过程中,关于水肿量的准确信息能清楚地预测康复后果。到目前为止,尚缺乏一种准确、快速、无创的临床工具来定量测量肢体体积。水置换法速度慢,并需要肢体采取一定的姿势,难以用于残疾人。带尺测量法更不可靠,不适于测量肿胀肢体。因此,作者开发了一种计算机肢体体积测量系统(CLEMS).CLMES 由3部分组成:1个机械臂,1个数字转换器和1个个人计算机。机械臂由5个带光学编码器的联动装置组成,末端的联动装置有一支笔,可在需测量的体表上描绘。由腿部的纵向图可得到12条资料流(data stream)并转换为横切面。数
Limb edema is a common problem in rehabilitation and acute disease management. Patients such as burns or severe lung failure must understand changes in limb volume to select the appropriate fluid handling method. Accurate information about the amount of edema during recovery can clearly predict the consequences of rehabilitation. To date, there is a lack of an accurate, rapid and noninvasive clinical tool to quantitatively measure limb volume. Water replacement method slow, and need to take a certain body posture, difficult to use for the disabled. Measuring tape method is more unreliable, not suitable for measuring swollen limbs. Therefore, the author developed a computer limb volume measurement system (CLEMS) .CLMES consists of three parts: a robotic arm, a digitizer and a personal computer. The arm consists of five linkages with optical encoders and the end link has a pen that can be drawn on the body surface to be measured.
