1947年10月11日上午10时,俞颂华先生在苏州呕血病逝,享年仅55虚岁,因突然仙逝,他甚至连一句遗言也没留下。俞家是太仓城内的名门望族。父亲俞棣云是我国电报业的先驱者,丈人钱菊人曾在河北、北京出仕。长兄俞凤宾为医学博士,曾任中华医学会会长;胞妹俞庆棠被誉之为“成人教育的先驱,民众教育的保姆”。俞颂华1893年出生,原名垚,又名庆尧,笔名澹庐。俞颂华的叔父因不幸儿媳双亡,无继承香火者,故由他的父亲作主,过继给其叔父懿兹公。
At 10 a.m. on October 11, 1947, Mr. Yu Songhua died of hematemesis in Suzhou. At the age of 55, he died of sudden death. He did not even leave a last word. Yu is a famous family in Taicang city. His father Yu Diyun is a pioneer of China’s telegraph industry, his wife Qian Juren was in Hebei, Beijing, a career. Elder brother Yu Fengbin as a doctor of medicine, served as president of the Chinese Medical Association; sister Yu Qingtang known as “a pioneer in adult education, public education nanny ”. Yu Songhua was born in 1893, formerly known as 垚, also known as Qing Yao, pen name Tan Lu. Yu Songhua’s uncle died because of unfortunate daughter-in-law, no inheritance incense, so by his father, over to his uncle Yizi Gong.
