红枣,又叫大枣,我国大部分地区均有出产,尤以山东,河北,河南一带产量最多.《战国策》中记载:苏秦对燕文侯说:“北有枣栗之利,民虽不佃作,枣栗之食,足食于民.”可见,早在三千多年前,红枣就是我国北方人民的重要食品了.红枣的营养很丰富,富含蛋白质、脂肪、糖类、矿物质、胡罗卜素和多种维生素.它所含的维生素C是任何蔬菜、水果都比不上的.每100克枣中含维生素C可达540毫克,比同等重量的梨多几十倍,而维生素P(芦丁)的含量也居百果之首.
