在中国古典小说、戏剧形成和推衍的过程中,产生了许多正本故事之外的许多另类故事,虽然这些故事不在正本之中,但故事本身却有着它们那个时代、地域的特色,有着各自独有的艺术魅力。在永靖黄河以南地区流传的“关公斩貂蝉”、“财宝神起源”、“昭君和番”就是独立在正本之外的三个小故事,是失落在民间的遗珠,是古典戏剧小说的别调。
