我在图书馆工作,对大学生阅读有一些感性的认识。我们学校大多是理工科,我们曾组织老师、学生去上海书城,让他们选书,我们买单。从老师和学生推荐的书目来看,提高人文素养的书不多,大多数是带有一些功利性的阅读在里面。从我们每一年的借阅排行榜来看,借阅比较多的也是功利性的书。比如看考公务员参考书的多,看人文著作的少。从图书馆的藏书结构看,主要是跟专业学习有关的图书,
I work in the library and have some sensuous understanding of college students’ reading. Most of our schools are science and engineering, we have organized teachers, students go to Shanghai Book City, let them choose books, we pay. From the bibliography recommended by teachers and students, there are not many books to improve humanistic accomplishment, and most of them have some utilitarian reading. From each of our borrowing leaderboards, borrowing is more utilitarian books. For example, civil service reference books to see more, see fewer humanities writings.
