美国著名的“钢铁大王”安德鲁,卡内基早年是个童工。1835年出生于苏格兰的邓非莫林市,父亲是个纺织工人。由于家境贫困,1848年举家由苏格兰移民来到美国匹茨堡。15岁进入匹茨堡电报局当投递员。经过数十年的苦斗与竞争,于19世纪末成为美国的“钢铁大王”。
The famous American “Iron King” Andrew, Carnegie was a child labor in his early years. Born in Dunwell, Mauca, Scotland, in 1835, his father was a textile worker. Due to poverty in his family, his family arrived in Pittsburgh, United States in 1848 by Scottish immigrants. 15-year-old entered Pittsburgh telegraph office when the courier. After decades of struggle and competition, the United States became the “Iron King” at the end of the 19th century.
