根据大量的区调资料,利用断陷盆地的分析方法,通过地层剖面的横向对比,认为滹沱群的豆村亚群、东冶亚群以及系舟山的下元古界七东山组为侧向相变关系,郭家寨亚群形成于其后。在详细研究岩性、岩相的变化规律以及盆缘断裂特征的基础上,初步建立了早元古代的岩石地层格架,分析了早元古代裂陷海槽的发育史。
