2008年奥运会,是整个中华民族的百年梦想和期盼。举办一届有特色、高水平的奥运会是全体中国人民的共同愿望和心声。“平安奥运”是奥运会举办能否成功的重要标志。胡锦涛总书记指出:“没有安全保障就没有奥运会的成功,没有安全保障就没有国家形象”。今年以来,北京市法院系统紧紧围绕“平安奥运”目标,牢牢把握在服务人文奥运、服务首善之区中的职能定位,不断强化奥运意识,从更高起点、更高层次、更高水平上思考、谋划和推进审判工作,充分发挥职能作用为平安奥运提供坚实的司法保障,确保首都社会安全有序,稳定祥和,为北京奥运会和残奥会顺利举办营造良好的法制环境和和谐氛围。
