在素质教育大力倡导与推进的今天,越来越多的英语教师开始大胆尝试趣味游戏法,试图将游戏渗透到具体的课堂教学中。由于缺乏相应的学习英语的氛围与语境,学生在学习中不能够身临其境地进行学习,使得部分学生在接触英语时感到困难与无趣,然而爱玩、好奇心强、表演欲强是小学生的天性,他们愿意也乐意接受趣味性较强的事物,而游戏教学法则顺应了学生的这一心理特性。在小学英语教学中,将趣味游戏法运用到其中能够寓教于乐,调动学生各种感官器官,从而满足学生好奇、好动的天性,让学生在游戏过程中感受到英语学习的乐趣,达到提高课堂教学效率的目的。
