中国足球水平在世界甚至在亚洲都处在相对较弱的地位,这也成为了国家重视足球运动的一个重要原因。2010年12月在全国青少年校园足球工作座谈会上,国务委员刘延东在2012年全国青少年足球座谈会中强调:我国的足球要从娃娃,搞好校园足球,加强足球后备人才培养,夯实足球运动的社会基础。在2015年,制定了《关于加快发展青少年校园足球的实施意见》,计划建设足球试点县、足球特色学校;组织大学、高中、初中、小学四个层次的足球联赛。看来足球进入校园势在必行!
