太湖,位于江苏省南部,长江三角洲中部。全部水域在江苏省境内,湖水南部与浙江省相连。是中国东部近海区域最大的湖泊,也是中国第二大淡水湖,是长江中下游淡水湖之一,与鄱阳湖、洪泽湖、巢湖、洞庭湖并称五大淡水湖。湖区以岛多峰多景秀而著称,是中国著名的风景名胜区,故有“太湖天下秀”之称。因其地处平原,气候温和湿润,水网稠密,土壤肥沃,是我国重要的商品粮基地和三大桑蚕基地之一,素以“鱼米之乡”而闻名。
Taihu Lake, located in southern Jiangsu Province, the central Yangtze River Delta. All water in Jiangsu Province, the southern part of the lake and Zhejiang Province. It is also the second largest freshwater lake in China and one of the freshwater lakes in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It is also known as Poyang Lake, Hongze Lake, Chaohu Lake and Dongting Lake and is also called the five freshwater lakes. Known for its multi-peaks and multi-peaks, the Lake District is a famous scenic spot in China, so it is called “Taihu Lake World Show”. Because of its plain, mild climate, dense water network, fertile soil, is China’s important commodity grain base and one of the three silkworm bases, known as “Yumizhixiang ” and is famous.
