【日本《原子力工业》1980年第7期报道】日本原子能研究所研制出一种用于治疗口腔癌等肿瘤组织时进行内照射的铱-192放射源。这种铱-192放射源是由铂和铱合金制成的。据说,它的优点是:可降低医生所受到的照射剂量和减轻病人的痛苦。这种放射源有1毫居里、10毫居里和20毫居里等三种。有一部分已在一些医疗单位进行临床试验,并证明完全能满足要求。打算今后扩大治疗范围。
[Japan’s “Atomic Power Industry”, No.7, 1980] Japan-based Institute of Atomic Energy has developed a niobium-192 radiation source for internal irradiation when treating tumor tissues such as oral cancer. This rhenium-192 radiation source is made of platinum and iridium alloys. It is said that its advantages are: it can reduce the radiation dose received by doctors and reduce the patient’s pain. There are three types of radioactive sources: 1 millicurie, 10 millicuries and 20 millicuries. Some have already undergone clinical trials in some medical units and have demonstrated that they can fully meet the requirements. We plan to expand treatment range in the future.
