[English] / W. Mottschalk ... ..Znduced Mntations in plont Breeding. 1983. 91-94. The most important disease of barley is powdery mildew caused by the fungus Erysiphe graminis. Applying physical and chemical mutagens, many different disease-resistant mutants have been obtained. So far, hundreds of such mutants have been available, but only a few have been used for barley breeding.
