毛大丁草为菊科毛大丁草属植物(Gerbera piloselloides(L.)Cass),别名兔耳风、白头翁等,民间用于治疗感冒发热、咳嗽多痰。贵州惠水县人民医院应用兔耳风治疗老年慢性气管炎,证明有镇咳及祛痰效果。遵照毛主席“中国医药学是一个伟大的宝库,应当努力发掘,加以提高”的教导,我们对毛大丁草的镇咳、祛痰作用进行了实验观察。实验所用生药及其所含香豆精甙由惠水县人民医院提供。
Mao Dingcao is a genus of Gerbera piloselloides (L.) Cass, alias rabbit ears, Pulsatilla, etc., folk for the treatment of cold fever, cough and more sputum. Guizhou Huishui County People’s Hospital applied rabbit ear wind to treat chronic bronchitis in the elderly, which proved to have antitussive and expectorant effects. In accordance with Chairman Mao’s guidance that “Chinese medicine is a great treasure house and should be diligently explored and improved”, we have conducted experimental observations on the antitussive and expectorant effects of Dalbutin. The crude drugs used in the experiment and the contained coumarone were provided by Huishui County People’s Hospital.
