On the morning of September 24, the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission held a “Press Conference on the Relevant Situation and Relevant Policies of Beijing’s Carbon Emissions Trading” on the Beijing Environmental Exchange. At the meeting, Deputy Director Hong Jiyuan of Municipal Development and Reform Commission announced that Beijing’s first forestry carbon sink transaction offsetting project - “Shunyi Carbon Sequestration Afforestation Phase I Project” was successfully listed on the Beijing Environmental Exchange, and on September 1, “Beijing City Carbon Emission Cancellation Management Measures (Trial) ”conducted a comprehensive interpretation. Director of Beijing Forestry Carbon Sequestration Office Zhou Caixian attended the conference and interviewed the media and introduced the development and listing of Shunyi Project
