目前我国语言学和社会学界对国内语言政策和语言规划的研究不是很多,而且尽管中国和美国的国家性质不同,但是在全球上,两国都是大国,中国有上下5000年的历史,有56个民族,是一个多民族的大国。而美国同样也跻身于世界的前列。这么两个大国,在语言政策的制定以及语言规划的实施方面一定有很多值得比较,值得对比的方面。同样,这也引起了语言学家,特别是社会语言学家的关注。所以,对这么两个国家的语言政策进行对比之后,我们一定会从中找到很多值得深思的。
At present, there are not many studies on domestic language policy and language planning in China’s linguistics and sociology circles. Although China and the United States differ in their nationalities, both of them are big powers in the world. China has a history of 5,000 years, and 56 Nation, is a multi-ethnic power. The United States also ranks among the highest in the world. In such two great powers, there must be many worthy and comparable aspects of the formulation of language policy and the implementation of language planning. Again, it draws the attention of linguists, especially sociolinguists. Therefore, after comparing the language policies of these two countries, we will surely find many worth pondering.
