In 1971, Stanford University in the United States conducted an experiment to separate a group of volunteer students into prison inmates and jailers to simulate prison life. After the experiment began, the two groups of people started to play their roles, the more cruel they played as jailers, while the prisoners who were prisoners did not dare to say anything about humiliation and abuse. The experiment scheduled for fourteen days was finally suspended for six days because of the uncontrollable situation. This is the famous “Stanford Prison Experiment.” “Set a situation, people will naturally put into the role of the performance of the situation and the role of the response to this is the reality of real television to explore the human nature of the situation may be artificially set, Will reveal what one does not know. ”“ Mark Burnett, ”the father of reality television, has created a series of popular live television shows based on this concept.
