传统研究中对于莎士比亚爱情诗歌中隐喻的翻译往往从修辞的角度出发,使用的翻译手法大多以异化为主。然而由于中西方文化和认知背景的差异,单纯的异化翻译无法传递出其隐喻背后的思维和文化内涵,容易造成读者的误读和概念缺失。因此本文就莎士比亚两首爱情诗歌《凤凰与斑鸠》及《情女怨》作为研究对象,研究其诗中的空间隐喻翻译,在比较分析前人的翻译后,提出自己的翻译策略,以便更好地传递给读者莎翁诗歌中空间隐喻的背后意义和内涵。
In the traditional research, the translation of metaphors in Shakespeare’s love poems often starts from a rhetorical point of view. Most of the translation techniques used are mainly alienation. However, due to the differences between Chinese and Western cultures and cognitive backgrounds, purely alienated translation can not convey the thinking and cultural connotations behind the metaphorical translation, which can lead to readers’ misunderstanding and lack of concepts. Therefore, this study focuses on two metaphorical translations of Shakespeare’s two love poems, “The Phoenix and the Turtledoves” and the “Romance and Grudge”, after analyzing their predecessors’translation, in order to find a better translation strategy The Meaning and Connotation behind Spatial Metaphor in Reading Shakespeare ’s.
