春秋战国是我国历史上百家争鸣最为繁盛的时期,涌现出许多不同学派的思想家,他们一个个畅抒己见,相互之间展开论战,有如春天里的百花,争相艳放。在音乐领域里,一些主要学派的代表人物纷纷提出了自家的观点,相互间进行争论。这一场音乐大论战自春秋时代的孔子至战国时期的荀子,前后延绵两百多年之久,他们争论的焦点主要是:音乐这种艺术是有利,还是有害?有什么利,有什么害?应该提倡,还是应该禁止?名人所持态度皆是营垒清楚,旗帜鲜明。
The Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period are the most prosperous periods in the history of hundreds of schools of thought in our history. Many thinkers of different schools have emerged. They freely express their opinions and controversy each other. They are like the flowers in the spring that compete with each other. In the field of music, the representatives of some major schools have put forward their own opinions and argued with each other. This music controversy from the Confucius in the Spring and Autumn Period to Xunzi in the Warring States Period stretches over two hundred years before and after. The main points of their debate are: Is this art beneficial or harmful? Should be advocated, or should be banned? Celebrities hold the camp are clear attitude, clear-cut.
