Killer One: Pollutants that pollute nitrogen oxides and lead in the air are killers of male reproductive issues. Scientists found that men who work or live near the freeway for more than 6 hours a day have significantly worse sperm quality than other men of the same age. Scientists in Hong Kong, China, find that seafood contains more mercury, a chemical that is harmful to reproduction, because of the industrial pollution of the oceans. Therefore, excessive consumption of seafood will make the blood mercury levels increased, leading to male infertility. Killer II: Smoking Men often smoke three times more than men who never smoke. Smoking is most prevalent in men aged 30 to 40 years.
