语文教师的精神气质,不仅指满腹经纶的文化知识、机敏幽默的教育才智、深厚的爱心、充沛的活力、亲切的教态和动情的话语,也包括教师身上洋溢出来的一种历史使命感、责任感,一种强烈的教育理想,一种对诗意人生的追求。在应试教育体制下,很多语文教师没有传统国文教师那种教育情怀和知识功底,只是为了谋取俸禄而完成教学任务,沦为了教育的奴隶,不说做追求真理的知识分子、人类思想的启蒙者、社会的批判者和引领者,甚至有的语文教师连一般教师应有的精神气质也快消失殆尽。语文教师要提升精神气质必须做到:爱岗敬业,恪守高尚师德;修身笃行,强化人格魅力;博览群书,提高人文素质;关爱学生,努力教书育人;勇于探索,形成独特风格。
