Introducing Kastle-Meyer test, a simple and sensitive forensic technique for detecting bloodstains, to evaluate the blood contamination of dental offices and instruments, as well as the effectiveness of conventional decontamination methods. Materials and Methods The course of treatment in 50 patients and the sterilizers used were studied. Select the following 10 items for surface sampling: Dental chair, power switch, light switch, light handle, handlebar, syringe hilt, faucet, countertop, cloth around patient's chest, eyeglasses for patient and operator.
