2013年,是毛泽东诞辰120周年。我们评价和纪念毛泽东,离不开1981年中共十一届六中全会通过的《关于建国以来党的若干历史问题的决议》(以下简称《决议》)。这是在邓小平主持下起草的一个划时代的文献,奠定了全党全国对毛泽东评价的重要原则和坚实基础。经过30多年的风云变幻,中国和世界都发生了巨大的变化。这个《决议》提出的原则和判断,像邓小平当时所讲的一样,是经得起历史检验的,是推不倒、站得住脚的。
2013 is the 120th anniversary of Mao Zedong’s birth. Our evaluation and remembrance of Mao Zedong can not be separated from the “Resolution on Certain Historical Issues of the Party since the Founding of the People’s Republic of China” (the “Resolution”) passed by the 6th Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee in 1981. This is an epoch-making document drafted under Deng Xiaoping’s presidency, laying down the important principle and solid foundation for the entire party and the nation in appraising Mao Zedong. After 30 years of change, great changes have taken place in China and in the world. The principles and judgments set forth in this resolution, like what Deng Xiaoping said at the time, can stand the test of history and can not be pushed down and can not be sustained.
