【日本《原子能快报》1985年6月13日号第3页报道】美国能源部长赫林顿6月5日会见记者时说,美国决定采用原子激光同位素分离法为下一代铀浓缩法。在此之前,法国核材料总公司副经理5月份会见记者时就曾说过,“法国下一代铀浓缩法已经选定为激光法,并计划到本世纪末有一座年生产能力为1,000吨分离功的铀浓缩厂建成投产。”
[Japan Atomic Energy News, June 13, 1985, p. 3] US Energy Secretary Herrington told reporters on June 5 that the United States decided to use the atomic laser isotope separation method as the next generation of uranium enrichment. Prior to this, when the deputy manager of the French Nuclear Material Corporation met with reporters in May, he said, “The French next-generation uranium enrichment method has been selected as the laser method, and it is planned that by the end of the century there will be an annual production capacity of 1,000 tons. The uranium enrichment plant was completed and put into production."
